DESCRIPTION:Ze Ri\, the Ancient Chinese Art of Date Selection: Doing the right thing in the right place at the right time\n\n\n\nLive Online Starter Course via Zoom\, the weekend of April 29th/30th 2023. \n\n\n\n“Your advice to me as to precisely when the downturn would occur and when it would pick up was bang on.” Naomie Harris star of Pirates of the Caribbean\, Spectre\, Moonlight & The Long Song\, \n\n\n\nThis Rabbit Year is all about timing and rhythm. \n\n\n\n“Doing the right thing in the right place at the right time\,” is one definition of feng shui. When we fail it’s generally because we’ve got one of three things wrong: we’ve acted too early\, acted too slow or put our attention in the wrong place. \n\n\n\nFeng shui can help us with placing; Ze Ri allows us to time things right. Over time we may combine these skills to make forecasts. \n\n\n\nBasic Ze Ri consists of four components: \n\n\n\n1.    Daily Stem and Branch – the Chinese Animals (or “Pillars”) have established relationships. So knowing the Pillars of month and year tells us a great deal about a day. There’s a reason many would advise staying off the roads on a Tiger Day during a Monkey Month. \n\n\n\n2.    2. Daily Officer – there are twelve – tells what kind of activity is appropriate. Bet on an outsider on a Balance Day; space clear on a Remove one. \n\n\n\n3.    3. With a bit of drilling down the Lunar Mansions suggest probable outcomes. Horn suggests plenty; Orion means competition. \n\n\n\n4.    4. Xuan Kong Da Gua allows us to tailor a date to a particular person\, action and place. \n\n\n\nMix these indications up and we begin to have an idea of the events of the day. My additional comments come if you like from dreaming with them. I can teach you that too. Accurate forecasting follows. \n\n\n\nOver the weekend of April 29th & 30th I will be teaching this extended version of my earlier One-Day Workshops\, with new additional material. On the face of it that should make for a gentler\, wiser\, more domestic kind of time\, but perversely perhaps one also of impatience and aspiration. On the weekend of 10th/11th December I’ll aim to offer some hints as to how to respond during this coming year to a world that is worryingly changeable. \nSo we’ll be looking at the locations that are becoming favoured: South-facing homes for instance (especially with height in that direction) look like they will prosper; North West not so much. Indeed\, there may be pressure upon occupants of North West facing homes to move. We’ll have a look at the implications for each orientation. \nEqually certain Animals enjoy a following wind in 2023: among these the Horse for the 2nd consecutive year. Roosters may not be so lucky as Rooster and Rabbit are opposed. \nRemember however that your moment of birth was marked by four Animals\, one for each of the Year\, the Month\, the Day and the Hour. Each covers particular types of activity and it is as unlikely that all Four Pillars are blighted as that they are all blessed. We’ll look at which areas of your life and home may be best to concentrate on. \nAs well of course as looking at the patterns of energy in your home and office and suggesting what to do about them we’ll be examining more global issues: this Year of the Tiger 2022 has clearly featured expansion from the North East into the East.
